Joe received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. He began working in public accounting with a local firm in 1981 and earned his designation as a Certified Public Accountant in 1982. Joe established Joseph R. Michalak, LLC in 1984 and soon began concentrating on homeowner and condominium associations. He is married with one son and enjoys guitars, cards and spending time with his wonderful wife Anne.

Shelley attended the Webster Business School with a concentration in Office Administration. After working in the financial planning field as a licensed sales assistant, she joined Michalak CPAs as the first employee in 2001. She is married with two children and enjoys the beach, bike riding and spending her summers in Canada.

Kim holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Memphis where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She received her CPA designation in 1988 from the state of Tennessee and is currently on inactive status. Her professional experience includes working as the Financial Secretary for a church and Senior Accountant for a regional commercial property management firm. Kim is married with three children and is a certified Jazzercise instructor, mentor and franchise owner.

Gina graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Masters degree in Taxation. She received her CPA designation in 1991 and is currently on inactive status. Gina has over 30 years of experience in public and private accounting. She is married with three children and enjoys running, biking, tennis and paddle boarding.

Chris attended Seminole State College for his Bachelor of Science in Business Management and the University of West Florida for his Masters of Accounting. Chris is married with two children and enjoys coaching youth football and the outdoors in his spare time.

Jodi graduated from Florida Southern College with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. Her professional experience includes working as an Account Executive and Production Manager in marketing communications. Jodi is married with a son and two daughters and enjoys reading, traveling and volunteering for various community service organizations.

Nancy studied Accounting at Central Piedmont Community college in Charlotte, NC. Before joining Michalak CPAs, Nancy was the co-owner and Director of Accounting for a management firm handling in excess of 60 homeowners and condominium associations. She has over 40 years accounting experience in the Common Interest Realty Association industry. Nancy is married and has one son and is a certified instructor and franchise owner for Jazzercise, Inc.

Brent received his Bachelors of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance from Florida State University. He is currently a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Brent began his career in Tampa with a national firm where he worked as an audit manager in various industries, primarily focusing on privately held real estate clients. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, Florida State football, and rooting for all the Orlando and Tampa Bay professional sports teams.

After working for Delta Airlines for over 30 years, Anne joined Michalak CPAs supervising team building and social activities. She enjoys reading, bike riding and going to the beach.

Rose graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting and held a CPA license from 1983 until putting it on inactive status in 2023. Her career included 12 years in audit/tax with Ernst & Young, an international accounting firm, followed by 7 years with a private health care provider. Since 2000 she has been a financial officer with various public real estate investment trusts and private equity funds. She has volunteered with numerous organizations, most recently as a Board member of a Childhood for Children, Inc. Rose is a Florida native raised in a large family on the space coast. She has two daughters and a granddaughter all of whom share her passion for travel.

Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Florida State University. She received her CPA designation in 1991. Before joining Michalak CPAs, Amanda worked as an auditor with an international CPA firm. She has three children and enjoys running and yoga.

Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Rutgers University in Camden, New Jersey. Her professional experience includes working as a Staff Auditor for a CPA firm, as an Assistant Controller for a local banking software company and as the Director of Customer Service for a software support company. Amy has been with Michalak CPAs since 2003 and manages compilation, review and audit services for Common Interest Realty Associations.

Judy holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting Degree from Florida State University and received her CPA certificate in 1982. She has worked at the firm since March 2012. Before joining Michalak CPA, her professional experience includes working in the audit department of both local and international accounting firms as well as in the private industry. Judy is married with three children and enjoys tennis and exercise.

Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from the University of Florida, earning her designation as a CPA in 1984, which is currently on inactive status. She has worked for various international CPA firms in Miami and Washington DC where she advanced to the level of Audit Manager. Kelly then worked in the private industry where she held a variety of controllership positions. She is married with two adult children. She enjoys travel, hiking, and visiting her family.
